Some really epic pictures in this thread, excited to eventually do some real off roading.
I just caught a snow storm last week and did a little drive on some of the gravel roads up north from me.
To balance all those snow pics... Just a few pictures of the Defenders (L663) seen at SCARR (South Central Area Rover Rally) 2022 this past weekend in Gilmer, Tx. LOTS of East Texas red clay & mud on the trails. I probably missed taking pics of another half dozen trucks amongst the sea of Land Rovers.
Visiting with a 2020 from Dallas. On the way home. I wish I had HALF the stories he had! Well built truck. East Texas red dirt. Hill Country British making a show. Sarek & Lucky8: The meeting of the minds. On the way to SCARR, just had to go on Safari. Even Defenders from Virginia.... ...that have seen a lot of trails. And trials?
Those are some class looking rigs @GrouseK9 . Yours included. Looks like a blast. Those Evo Corse wheels look the business with their Texan colors. That rig looks like it as a satelite dish on the rack. Took me a minute to figure it out.
I sure do miss Texas seeing these pictures. Lived in the Dallas area for about 7 years. Cant get good BBQ round these parts for love nor money I tell you hwut. Bluebonnet season too.
Can't claim these as my own photos or my own rig, but these two photographers from Austria and New Zealand did a killer job of capturing this 110 fuji white/black roof combo in their work. Crediting Niklas Siemens and Kai Bernstein for their great shots. Days after I ordered my own similar 110, I stumbled upon this bunch of photos and felt validated about my color combo choice. Pasting a few shots below, but check out their collection, too!
There's a shortcut to our summer house over the mountain rather than around and through the valley, closed in winter. Nothing crazy but always fun and allowed me to get the new tires dirty, use the terrain control and watch the 4x4i info screen.
