Is it possible to disable the seatbelt reminder alarm? Any workarounds? Just picked up my 2021 Defender on Tuesday and love it so far.

 

Unless they changed it on MY2021, the trick is always the same: close the door, switch the ignition on (don't start the engine) and then, as rapidly as you can, buckle and unbuckle the driver seat belt 10 times n a row. After unbuckling for the 10th time, you should eventually hear a ding / bong as confirmation, and the reminder should be muted from now on. Repeat the same procedure to reactivate the beltminder.

 

Umbertob or anyone, has anyone gotten his to work? I was super pumped to see there might be a seatbelt alert disable procedure (spare me the soap box on why it’s there to begin with) but couldn’t get this process as lined out above to work. I WANT it to work though. Anyone?

Not as rapidly as you can, wait for the seatbelt light show up every time. After 10 times you hear a gong.
