going to contact the seller tomorrow. Hope they can resolve this for me. Pretty expensive table to have a large number stamp on!

 

Seriously you have a truck, just pick up a can of spray hammer finish paint, scuff and spray and it will look better than new and add a non-slide matt..

I paid almost $400 for this table. That wasn’t part of the bargain…. In that case, I could have built one myself! But thx for your input.

 

Not sure what's going on. By the time I got here the OP had deleted his post. If this was resolved, it would be the right thing to delete the entire thread as the title alone seems a bit inflammatory if it was.

I have one of these (for over a year) and I must say that it is rock solid, no squeaks, rattles, etc.

 

First thing is you could't build it the same in your garage. This is the best rear door table I could fine anywhere, yeah I cost a bit but for another $5 in paint it still is the best out there..

 

I would never paint mine..
why would you make a maintenance free stainless table top into a top you have to be careful for or to maintain ??
And honestly I like it for hygiene reasons, don't have to be careful with all kind of foods on it. Super easy to clean.

Because I use plates and don't eat off the table top I painted my table..

looking at the pictures here and on the also now deleted identical FB post, I suspect the OP made a small error.

Maybe one more piece of deceptively clear plastic cover with printing remained.

Maybe he listened to the keyboard warrior FB folks flaming him for not waiting to hear from mudstuff first before posting this issue online.





Looks like a fine table either way. Hopefully the OP gets plenty of fun use from it.
