Default Does wheel rotation needs all wheels be re-aligned?

Just to make sure I am using all my wheels properly ... I am planning to rotate the wheels like every 3000 kms or something. Do I need to get the vehicle re-aligned everytime I rotate them? or is that something I can just do in my garage?

As long as the tires were properly balanced upon installation, rotate at will. I do mine every 5K miles in my garage and also include the spare in the rotation.

Yeah I am hoping the dealer balanced them wheels before handing the car over, and yeah thinking of including the spare in rotation too. Thanks.

Pretty sure they spin balance at the factory in Nitra - I don't believe the dealer goes through the trouble of double checking as part of the PDI, unless you requested a different tire (Duratracs?) to be dealer installed prior to taking delivery.

You guys are confusing balancing the tires with aligning the car. The OP asked about an alignment. No, it is not necessary to realign your car when you rotate the tires and wheels. I'm sure the factory manual has a recommended interval to get alignments but I usually just let them go until I notice some indicator that something is amiss. My previous Range Rover Velar on air suspension just would not stay aligned (did it twice in 2.5 years) but my Defender has been good so far.
