Default Dog ramp

Has anyone used a dog ramp? Where do you store it when underway?

I do all the time. Kennel (crate) on one side and ramp on the other. I ususally lay the ramp flat and put whatever cargo on top, or if not convenient, store the ramp on its side.

It would be awesome to have something that slid out like in a moving van.

I just need to find a place to put it while our 100 lb black lab is back there.

Default Steps?

I use steps for my dogs and I store it on the roof rack for now. Having a mount made for the spare tire so I can place it there for easier retrieval.

I attaches the ramp to the foldable table installed on the rear gate with straps. It takes a minute to secure it. It might cause little noise on bumpy road I guess. But I'm happy with it so far.

Default Good idea

Thanks a lot I like that idea. Is that the Land Rover ramp?

Yes it is. The Land Rover Ramp fits perfectly. The length and width are just right. I still can use the hooks on both sides too. The straps are from REI, they're 40" long. I forgot what's the size of screws that hold up the ramp. I found them in my toolbox. In the 3rd picture, you can see the ramp tilt a little bit. But if I flip it and place the other side against the table, it will stand vertically without tilt.
