Default East Coast owners snow pics

While we all know how the older LR’s do in the blizzard conditions, which is quite well, I’ve yet to see some good action shots and vids of the new 110’s plowing the roads. If anyone is in the path of the storm get out there and enjoy technology at its finest. Throw up some pics!

Sorry, Defender is sitting this one out in the warm garage wearing the Goodyear offroad tires. LR4 with Nokian winter tires will continue to do the driving in snow until Nokian offers a winter tire in Defender sizes.

I took it out to test its sure-footedness, and sure enough it stayed very well planted. Didnt get any pics however. Maybe tomorrow.

Default Snow Pics

First time post...I couldn’t pass up the opportunity to share some recent pics. The Defender is a beast! No issues in over a foot of snow.

My wife is itching to get some snow here in NC, but no dice. We are in the Piedmont area and haven't even gotten a dusting.

I don't have a Defender/LR5 but I do have an LR4 with Nitto Grabbers. Took that out; fine in the 22" of snow we have until I hit the plowed surfaces that were then receiving a new dusting; as I expected it was all over the place. Went back home, swapped it for my GTI with winter tires and all is well again. Proper snow and plowed roads/ice like this just reminds me what a huge difference winter tires make, 4WD or no 4WD, there's no comparison. Now need to find a set of spare rims to put winters on the LR4 and play outside.
