I recently replaced my 'Dark Oak' Factory 'hocky stick' trims and door handle trims. So, looking to unload them. Car had barely 300 miles when I took them, off. They are pristine. If anyone has interest let me know. Would like to stick to shipping to the 48 states.
Mine has the lighter "crosshatch-y" lighter wood... which interestingly in two places is starting to splinter. Maybe this stuff is better long term? Who knows lol .
perhaps sharing what you replaced it with might make the thread relevant.
I've looked at it, and being a wood-worker, I'm looking at fabricating a replacement with something a bit more exotic with some nice oiled figured grain
Uhhh...Being a woodworker, ya realize that is not actually wood? It is a very thin micro-veneer bonded to a backing plate, usually aluminum. They stopped using "wood" in car interiors right around the time Henry Ford introduced actual colors in his paint shop. Something about accidents and splinters....I dunno, Google it for the details....

also a woodworker - If you come up with a pattern, I'd love to do the same. Best
I'm also a woodworker, but I think this would be something best for a CNC machine. I'm tempted to make a go of it, but have way too many projects stacked in front of it....
