Faulty mhev battery
2022 Defender 110 X - DC Converter fried, alternator fried, 12v battery fried. DC converter is on global backorder and I have not found one in the US or UK, so I have a 5,000 paper weight at the moment. Repair shop said they found someone in New Jersey that can repair the converter, but will take several weeks. What a ****-show. LR can continue to build new Defenders, but they can't source a part for loyal customers.
If anyone knows of a spare lying around (part # 433123464), it would be appreciated.
Thanks!

This saga continues, with the emergence of the DC to DC converter being a possible culprit. Add me to the list of those ‘having trouble around the same time’.
Dealer replaced my original battery in my 2022 110 X-Dynamic SE a little over two years old. That battery is now throwing LOW BATTERY warnings 50% of the time. After a trip back to the dealer, a month past the expiration of my vehicle warranty, I inquired as to whether there was a warranty on the battery itself and was told once the vehicle warranty expired there is no coverage on the battery. So I am now shopping for battery #3 in a vehicle 4 years and 2 months old. JLR should be held accountable for such a high failure rate.

I did file for a complaint based on my experiences with that link that everyone’s been passing around (I think it’s NHTSA) I am very frustrated and I have to figure out a way now to get my dead truck from New York back up to Massachusetts. It was towed to a dealer in Long Island and now I have to figure out if they’re going to be able to fix it or if the dealers up here can get it towed up here. Such nonsense. I am going to demand that they give me something for this because this is beyond frustrating. The number of problems I have had with this truck with the price tag that it commands is borderline lemon law nonsense at this point.
