I'd be interested to hear your impressions as to road noise with the rack (no pun intended - well maybe a little bit LOL) as you have first hand miles without it on the same rig.
I've seen other posts here where folks have added a front air dam from a local Colorado company which I've kept on file. Having test drove a 110 6 cylinder with a roof rack the noise didn't seem excessive. However, it was a short drive and we were absorbing a lot of information. Coming from my Toyota FJ with it's Gobi Stealth roof rack the noise level in the LRD110 was frighteningly quiet on first impression.
I’ve only gotten up to 50 and actually couldn’t discern wind noise. I’ll be interested to see how it sounds on the highway but luckily 95% of my driving is around town. My previous VW Touareg’s crossbars whispered quite badly at most speeds so so far pleased.
