I know it's crass to want a red Rover but the sophisticates at Urban did it. I'm so messed up after this. Apparently there's another part to this video. I don't have it in me to watch it.
I was in Ireland earlier this year and saw an Urban Defender. I didn't know what it was, and assumed the hood lettering was just some custom thing. I also saw a couple other Rovers that caught my eye.
I was back in Ireland in November to see the family. Disappointed that every new Defender I saw was an urbanized, never to feel the squelch of mud, one with 22" alloys. All the old ones I saw were along the same lines as the ones you encountered. Beautiful work-horses.
I guess the market gets what the market wants.
I must say, I wouldn't fancy threading the needle of Dublin traffic in a new Defender.
Hey there, I totally get the appeal of a red Rover! It's a classic color that adds some flair to the typical Land Rover look. I recently came across this website called Old Money while surfing the web, and they have some awesome content about classy cars, including Land Rovers. I haven't seen the complete video you mentioned, but from what you've described, it seems like the folks at Urban really did something special with that Ferrari Red Defender. It's understandable that it left an impression on you.
