My Defender has finally arrived!! (Mostly). Flew in and took delivery in AZ over the weekend, then flew back home to WA and waiting for auto transport to bring it to me. But I used it for the weekend while I was in Phoenix and absolutely love it.
2023.5 Defender X in Carpathian Grey with additional black appearance pack. Cannot wait for the transport to get it to Seattle. Just a minor upgrade from my 2018 Discovery Sport hehe.
Drove mine from Atlanta to SW Colorado this summer, then back by a different route (always on rural surface roads, not interstates) and it was a great experience.
Great looking truck. Congrats!

I know - I wish I had had the time to drive it back... my partner and I just drove my Discovery Sport from PHX to SEA a year ago when we moved here - took a week because we took our time (and had our two pups with us). But this time around it was just me, and my boss was already complaining about taking a day off work (eyeroll) so I just flew back and had the dealer ship.
But we cannot wait to take it on some weekend trips up here in WA. I see there are a few people in the PNW on this forum too!
I'm in Seattle/Bellevue here and was supposed to take delivery in July of a 110X - but my "friend" I ordered it from in Los Angeles (recent transplant) decided to try a 25k markup after teh fact. NOT. So I passed and bought a new Jeep GC Summit Reserve - which I had to find in SLC and fly and drive it back. I already had a buyer for my 2020 X5 for an amazing price and the X5 with 22's just wasn't cutting it here. Perfect for LA - not so much PNW.
I'm searching for a new one now that things have settled a bit - but I def will NOT be buying from local dealers. I fully expect the same as you - find it, buy it, and either drive it or ship it.

I am not sure if this was because this is my 5th purchase from them, or if they will normally sell from out of state - but I ordered from Land Rover North Scottsdale (in Phoenix / Scottsdale AZ). No markup, no forced add-ons, etc. My former salesperson(s) I knew in the past were no longer there, so I just used the internet form. They might help you out!

congrats! nice to see another X! besides the color, any a changes in the 2023 X from the 2020 X?
I'm not sure - I think mostly supply chain issues. For example, the USB and Click'n'Go are no longer in the back of the front seats - Click 'n' Go is added on to the headrest metal posts if you want it. USB is (or would be, if not for supply chain) in the back of the center console below the HVAC controls. (Mine came without passenger dash USB and 2nd row USB, but there is a service action pending to get them installed - or you can buy the LR parts yourself and install them as others here have). I specifically upgraded to the X (originally ordered an X-Dynamic but changed it 3 days later) so that supply chain wouldn't short me the all digital driver display, 11.4" screen, and ClearSight rear-view mirror.
The other thing I didn't realize had been shorted by supply chain was the Clear Exit Monitor - I didn't realize until just earlier last week that was a thing, and confirmed I did not get it on my X.
I didn't start heavily looking into buying one until late 2021, so I'm not sure what may have changed since 2020. My build was originally a 2023 and was upped to a 23.5 but not really any changes I saw.
