Default Finally, new Defender coming home tonight

Hi Guys,

After over 1/2 a year of waiting, my order finally came in. P400 HSE with Offroad and Tow Pkg and a few other goodies. MSRP was right at $76k

I'm super happy to finally have it!

Rob

@crewcabrob
Looking good - how are the tires - yoko right? Noise? Ride? It looks like the rear/pass rim has curb rash or just an odd reflection.

Hi,

Sorry for the delayed response. Yep, Yokohama Geolandar MT G003 in size 33 x 12.5 x 20" The tire is about 32.6" tall whereas the OEM tire is right at 32" tall.

Noise is acceptable, and I knew what I was getting myself into when I went with a modern MT tire. I've had MT tires in the past on my rovers and this one is fairly civilized. The ride is quite good, and I really can't complain about how it drives or handles. The alignment should happen today so I will know more on how the lift has affected the toe. I found out there are no adjustments for camber or caster on any corner of the vehicle.

No scratches or road rash yet on the wheels, just an odd reflection I guess.

I'm getting the A-pillars and thing in the middle of the rear windows wrapped black today while they tint the front windows.

I also bought new TPMS sensors for the new wheels and they require programing to the vehicle.

I guess more to come.

Rob
