This forum was a huge help both in deciding on the Defender and then staying occupied during the long wait for it to be delivered (ordered May 17th and Arrived Nov 5th). I realize this probably isn't as long a wait as it felt compared to what some are enduring now, but felt like ages to me at any rate. I ordered a 110 SE P400 with air suspension, off road pack with the live rear axel, tow pack, black pack, and the 11.4" screen. I have nearly 1000 miles on it now and I could not be happier with it. It is certainly the nicest vehicle I've ever had and it drives like a dream. My first vehicle was a '93 Jeep Cherokee with a 4.0 inline 6, so it was a bit nostalgic to have an inline 6 again, although the number and order of the cylinders is certainly the only thing they have in common as this has over double the HP and torque of my first I6. It has plenty of power, thats for sure. Anyway, in northern Illinois there are not an abundance of places to get scenic pictures, but this is what I could find in my general area for a decent backdrop.
