Default A Frame Protection Bar

Has anyone installed the A frame protection bar yet?
Do we like the look? I just dislike the factory front end look so much and looking fro a change.

Thanks,
ETB

Seems pointless. Love the one with tubular construction from Australia.

Agreed, bull bar is offered in Aus. I tried to get one but it’s like pulling teeth. Not a fan of the plastic looking A frame either. Dealer quoted $1k + labor. Hoping some nice mods come out soon for the Defender element.

My front now some form of protection from other drivers who can’t parallel park. And design wise, I like that it pulls all the black accents together.

I was on the fence about this and even tried to order one from my dealer. Thank God they were on backorder. I am so glad I didn't spend money on this. In my opinion, and it's just my opinion, these look horrible. The textured black plastic that close to the gloss black around the headlights looks horrible. Plus, i hate the fact that you can still see the silver underneath it. That should have all been blacked out before installing this.

Thanks for all the feedback, positive or negative. I’ll wait a little longer to see what the aftermarket world produces in the near future.
We all know as Defender owners there’s always room to upgrade to make your own a bit different.

I just had it installed, I think it looks excellent.

If anyone else needs it for future reference, you need to order VPLEP0385 and VPLEB0437 for the non X model. If you can source the parts yourself, it'll be $500 cheaper than the $1300 the dealer charges for the a frame.
