If you turn it up when you get in, after less than 30 minutes it's ready and cold...

Don't need the insert, but great idea for old school "Tin" cans be they beer or soda. I buy larger size tea and cappuccino, they fit fine, but I admit I keep it mostly full.

Like others said I love my fridge and def a use for long road trips. Around town I use this CONSOLE CENTRAL INNER ARMREST STORAGE BOX TRIM from Lucky8. I can put a few items in this and I can still keep small cans or items cool below.
