I too started down that road, but its two weeks turn around, and 300$ I can buy the aftermarket for not much more, and according to its site is anodized not powdercoated which will be much more durable in the winter.

If I cant get a definitive answer, Ill likely go the PC route, but its worth asking around first.

Looks like they do in fact line up. The only thing that may be different is the size of the heads on the oem bolts, but otherwise they are the same. I really wish I didnt know that they are asymmetrical now its gonna bug me. What engineer would allow such a thing!

Glad it helped. If you do decide to go for the aftermarket one, you'll probably change out those bolts anyway. Like me, you'll want black along with black washers I suspect, the aftermarket are silver as you can see but also a little short. I'm off to find some M10x35 in black. Good luck with the install.

I installed the Ez fit and was all prepared to have to file things like in the video- when I first installed the brackets I didn’t have them seated in as “low” s as possible but after a light tap with a mallet, everything fit great. Did not have to grind the washers. The two top screws (“e”) felt short but seem to be seated in well enough, time will tell. I basically trimmed off all the plastic because I managed to completely rip both sides in half backing up a bit in some mud a month or two ago 😂

I was able to source some longer black finishing bolts and washers for the black aftermarket skid plate - looks much better. The supplier has this information now so hopefully you'll get some in the new kits. Simon at PowerfulUK will include instructions for the U-bolt access cut out holes as an alternative to trimming away your rear shield. I did grind my washers down and this helped me cinch the brackets in to just the right place. Have fun.
