You buy aftermarket / copy parts from China. Why did Landrover decided not to produce them there as cheap as possible ?
Because there went a lot of reseach and designing to develop this product It need to be a heavy duty part, and as you can see on the video from Powerfuluk.com
the under bracket alone is 4,75 kg, plating of undershield is 5 mm thick . I'am proud this product is perfectly made in Belgium.

so on your § 80k car you saved a few hundred bucks...
