Fuse removal to prevent theft
Hi there,
Disable keyless entry, that is if you are OK with the inconvenience of pushing the FOB (or activity key) to open your doors. Doing this will also remove any unexpected battery drain issues, particularly when camping near the vehicle / leaving your keys within range of the vehicle or simply unlocked in the garage. Since doing this myself, I haven't had a low battery warning (MY21) even after not starting the vehicle for a month.

If you are going to go thru the pita to pull a fuse each time you park it, I'd suggest buying a 10mm Knipex and keeping it in your battery tray. Just open the rear passenger door (RHD), open the battery tray and pull the terminal. Shut the box and walk away. Not sure how the locking will work, but that will kill everything and most won't look there. Heck, put in a kill switch somewhere in line and even better if you want to kill it frequently (large enough cable, put it under the passenger seat or wherever). Again, don't know how the door would lock, but that would do it. I'm not that fixated on it, but I should! I had a truck stolen one time and the next time I saw it was on the evening news. The ****** who stole it went street racing, lost control and ran it RIGHT into a house! The news camera focused in on my truck and it looked like the Wicked Witch of the East under the house (or was that West?). Anyway, I knew it was mine because they zoomed in on the bumper sticker: Proud of my Eagle Scouts!
Oh, BTW. I think another great security "thing" is to put an Apple iTag somewhere. PowerfulUk has some nice holders and even has something to put one in your spare. Both great ideas for the security focused. Good luck!
