Default Gloss Black Locking Lug Nuts for Spare

Does anyone have any recommendations. I have the 20" 5095 wheels on my 2023 Defender that I had powder coated. The black lug nuts that came from Land Rover were for 4 wheels and the spare has the silver locking ones. I want gloss black to match and just need some guidance. Thank you!

I asked about getting them powder coated but was told it would strip off when tightening them on. There are several gloss black options out there was just curious if anyone had bought a particular one they liked.

Default Cerakote

Cerakote. Won’t be perfect but it’s the best thing you could use in this type application. Hope this helps.

I've gotten Mcgard in the past and they match well... they have chrome and gloss black options: https://shop.mcgard.com/

Any idea the size for the new Defender? They don’t have Land Rover as option in their drop down menu.

I'd recommend just getting a nice gloss black spare tire cover and keeping the silver ones. I have the same wheels, and went down that same road you are on. the gloss black OEM lock nuts from land rover rust, the lug's are ok, but the lock nuts rusted on me after just 6 months. I even bought two packs of them just so I could have enough for the spare. I installed them super carefully myself, hand tightened. Even so, almost every single one that was on the car showed signs of rust.

I ended up just changing everything back over to the silver lugs that came with the truck and got a nice gloss black OEM style spare cover. Not sure if the new style locking nuts come in gloss black, if so they may have fixed the issue.

Made a post about it over here : https://landroverforums.com/forum/20...y-rust-111520/
