Silicon is absolutely stunning in person and imo the perfect defender color. Seen it once in person. Unfortunately hard to find 'on lots' but if I was ordering it'd be the only color I'd consider. This one was an order and pre-sold. Even if it wasn't, the 'X' trim was outta my budget. X-Dynamic SE in black is what I ended up with (and am very happy with it).

Totally agree and the color we initially spec'd out...Until my wife saw lantau bronze (her daily after all...) . Actually saw both at the dealership..Both colors are very similar. There is a touch more gold in the LB.

I had an "Osmium Grey" Volvo XC60 before my Pangea Green Defender, and it was a beautiful color. Silver and silvery paints are so nice nowadays. I liked the idea of getting an earthy, Land Rover color because hell, when else am I ever gonna buy a green or brown vehicle that actually looks good (probably never)!
I was personally between Godwana Stone and Pangea, and was happy with my choice in the end. If you live in overcast climate, expect any color you choose to look a tad darker than full brightness sunny photos you see online. Also, think about what colors are the "background" of where you'll use the vehicle. I find Pangea looks great, and even better amongst the bright green trees for instance. I imagine Godwana looks great amongst the dirt and desert, but honestly, there isn't a bad choice.
That said, I support breaking the "norm" and get something other than white, silver, or black!

Both stunning. Twenty inch gloss black wheels on Gondwana or Silicone would be my pick (with or without black roof). You need to be a touch braver to pick Gondwana but who dares wins.

anyone else notice the blue Defender with a white top - maybe around 11 o'clock? I LOVE the two tones! besides looks, the white roof may reduce cabin heat (as it's more reflective of sun's light), and the blue - probably Tasman Blue? - always looked good to me in photos. I saw an older FJ Cruiser with the same color scheme; it's definitely a stand out as it drove by, as very few have a white roof matched to a non-white body.
