I can't get over the saggy/floppy side plastic windows, every Bronco I have seen looks just like that. My jeep wrangler soft top windows are perfectly smooth/flat.

Agreed!

The one thing I will say about the top though is that it's pretty damn quiet at 85 mph. You can have a normal conversation, leave the radio at the same volume it was when you were at a stoplight, and it definitely doesn't get tedious even after a 7 hour drive.Very pleasantly surprised. Quite a few people do complain about the noise so I'm going to assume that they are all different. That's Ford QC for you though, don't get me started on all of the problems we've already had.

this is shocking to read. On my test drive the soft top wind noise started at around 40mph and progressively got worse.

plenty of other good attributes with the vehicle however.

In any case, those are two awesome rides you got there!

That's the thing. A lot of people do say that it's noisy. I've driven 4 and they all had different bugs. If you buy one, expect to have to shake a few issues out right after you drive off the lot. My first trip to the dealer is going to be on Saturday for three problems.

5 actually. 2 have been fixed.

1. Airbag light when it arrived at the dealer. Airbag was defective (already fixed).
2. All fuses in the engine compartment were very loose. I pushed them in.
3. GOAT mode selector (terrain selector and 2wd/4wd selector) is not working and it's stuck in RWD throwing an error "drive modes disabled"
4. Wireless charger is not functioning.
5. Trim piece for one of the soft top latches is... missing.

Say what you will about JLR, none of these should have made it past final QC or whoever put 40 miles on it before we got it. Ford is just pumping them out and leaving the dealers to get them right.

Also, the manual shows interior fuses under the glove box. They are under the steering column.

Allegedly, the Defender is in a class by itself. Such a beautiful vehicle.
