Heated windshield backordered

BTW it is horse**** from that dealership that you cannot put a non-heated windshield on a heated windshield model. Just order by part #.
You will though want to pay attention to whether or not you have HUD, non-HUD, solar window or not, that sort of thing if you care. But if the glass fits in the hole (which they all do), the windshield will work.

Interesting, I wonder if Safelite holds their own inventory. Please advise if as to whether the OEM arrived as promised. Thanks for the intel.

If I remember correctly is Pinkerton glass but does not have the Land Rover logo. I traded a white V8 in with that windshield and it had no effect on the value. I have glass coverage so it was a choice of $50 or over $3k plus wait for the JLR part. No brainer. I think the aftermarket was like $1400.

Sorry for the delayed response. Yes, this was a proper OEM windshield pulled from Safelite inventory. Took them 5 days to ship from their warehouse.

safelite told me the only different between oem and theirs is the sticker. Said same manufacturer. Just adding this for anyone who reads in the future
