I recently placed an order and optioned for extended leather w/o wood finishes on the center console. I was told the black pieces (those that could be optioned as wood) would be a soft plastic material that's easier to clean than the neoprene material. I actually want the black look on those pieces but do not want it in the neoprene due to keeping it clean.

Hopefully someone will let me know if the dealer was mistaken. I'd select the darker wood then.

the center console rails that you can choose the finish will be soft black plastic material by default to my knowledge. Regardless of extended leather or not if you do not choose a finish for it. It is not neoprene like the dash rails, upper door rolls and center console. Hope that helps
