Oh, thanks for the note! I'll look forward to hearing more as I am still waiting for my allocation.
I've see a carbon fiber trim option (aftermarket) which may look good, but I too would rather keep it more subtle = black if the finish holds up...

the center console rails that you can choose the finish will be soft black plastic material by default to my knowledge. Regardless of extended leather or not if you do not choose a finish for it. It is not neoprene like the dash rails, upper door rolls and center console. Hope that helps

Ok, thank you. I did not get a chance to inspect carefully but noticed some give in the surface.
Does anyone know if this is the same on the V8? I noticed some real life pictures looking like some sort of texture... perhaps similar to that of the plastic in the door cards?
