Hello,


Would anyone know of a good product to clean the spongy material that makes up most of my 23 D90S interior? It gets marked very easily with the slightest touch. I would love to keep something in the truck to do spot cleaning as I see it.

I am assuming it's plastic as most everything is in almost every car. I use:

nextzett 92441015 Plastic Deep Cleaner

for cleaning plastics and then use:

303 Automotive Protectant

to protect / prevent

303 does work but it is carcinogenic. Says it on the bottle. I feel like it's not worth touching something that could give me cancer when my wife already beat cancer.

I love CarPro InnerQD as a cleaner. It smells so good.

CarPro PERL (Plastic, Engine, Rubber, Leather) is an excellent protective treatment that leaves absolutely no residue or shine. It even keeps the cupholders spotless and it smells like a tropical cocktail.

 

And one note: Nextzett Plastic Deep Cleaner is amazing. I use it frequently. HOWEVER it may be a bit strong for repeated / weekly use. There's another product called Cockpit Premium Plastic Cleaner/Protectant that's very good for more frequent light duty use.

 

Dawn dish soap diluted with water in a spray bottle, cleans everything way easy.

 

I use Pledge Multisurface Wipes and it works for me.
