Default How to disable the side marker light? Urban wheel arch

About to order the Urban wheel arch (non-us spec), how to disable the side marker/light for the front and the back?
If I just unplug the cable would it throw any errors on the dash? Urban said that others have done this before, they are not sure how ..

i have eurospec oem fenders, no side markers. just remove the light, protect it from the elements and tuck it behind the fender

no errors.

The light is in the arch itself, so all you'll have is a wire / connector to deal with. It's probably fine as-is, but to be extra safe I guess you could put some electrical tape over the connector.

The Urban arches install over your existing wheel arches, with body adhesive. So technically, you probably don't have to disconnect anything, which is what I was planning to do. I got mine right when they came out and have been lazy about getting them painted and installed.

Why not just have the lights tinted with wrap? Thats what I did with mine - cant be seen when the lights are off and are only visible enough that you wont get a ticket if stopped and checked.
