Default How are the "new" resist seats holding up?

I believe the resist seats material was updated in 2024 or 2025. I'm curious how they're holding up if you have them. Also particularly interested in how they perform regarding color transfer from clothing - especially with the light Cloud color. Thanks!

I have the leather / resist seats in my 25 110 with only 9K miles and I have seen no issue at all. Seems to be holding up very well so far.

No trouble with mine on a 2025 Defender.

can you really tell the difference between the real leather and the resist seats?

If you are not a leather expert, it is really hard to tell.

Yes. Big difference. Resist feels more hard & plasticky than leather while still being a soft upholstery. It doesn't feel as nice as the Veganza material in our X1, but it is nice nonetheless. The Windsor leather is a big upgrade, but it won't be quite as durable as the Resist. Plus, the Resist will be a lot easier to clean and maintain over time. I personally would spec the Windsor, but the Resist isn't a dealbreaker.

I did end up buying a 110 with the cloud resist seats. The perforated seating area and back feels very soft to the touch. I wouldn't know it wasn't leather... And didn't know when I first sat inside the vehicle. The surrounding material is a little more firm but no worse than the grained leather option in my opinion. I'm very happy overall and hoping they do in fact hold up better than leather. I have the Windsor in my f-pace and personally didn't notice much of a difference... Ignorance is bliss I guess. 😃

Alai, the seats in the 2026 seem to be much more comfortable compared to my previous D90s... Almost like there's a layer of memory foam or gel. My partner noticed the difference right away.

Mercedes have got away with plastic seats for decades, pretending they are ‘premium’ and calling it Artico Leather or similar if I remember correctly

Didn't Mercedes call them MB Tex?
