I had mine installed and I must have lost the screw driver type tool that allows you to move the beams around, is this a standard tool or more custom from LR? It’s kind of like a star shape pattern. But also doesn’t seem like the basic star tool type.

Torx T30 does it. That size is used on a lot of the Defender bolts. Handy to have a set.

The nice thing about the T-handle tool that came with the cross bars is that it’s a torque wrench. It clicks when you have tightened the bolt the right amount. Just be careful not to over tighten when you use a regular Torx bit.

 

this seems to have a “key” aspect where a typical T30 doesn’t fit. Any idea? I uploaded a photo for clarity.

Get the security Torx set. works for all. I move the bars around a couple of times a year at least.
