Default How to remove Alexa and icon

I am very underwhelmed by Alexa on Pivi. After trying to find an answer online, with no success, I would like to remove it and the icon from the Home Screen, The icon is taking up valuable real estate and I don't use it.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

@skywaterbanjo - Any success yet? Felt the same way and was hoping someone would respond to your question.

Not yet and disappointed. Alexa doesn't do anything for me that I need.

I just don't like that there are 3 "sticky" icons on the left and it hijacks one. At least let me choose if I want it there!

@The Insider - Is there any "Tech Support" that folks can reach out to? Just fire off an e-mail, chat or form would be awesome. Just don't want to wait on a phone call when it can likely be answered asynchronously with a "No" or "look here". Being new, no idea. Ever since Damian D went radio silent/gagged, I feel that there's no tech source in the "social community" for JLR. Other than you!

Anyone? Anyone know of how to contact any "Help Desk" of how to use Tech on the Defender? If you advise me to call my Dealer, I'll likely pass on the suggestion. I am certain that the collective wisdom of this forum is FAR superior to the random sales guy I will get who either doesn't know or is not motivated to know.

Scroll all the way down to Disconnect Alexa

Gone.

I do put out some very occasional juicy content in between my usual shlt-posting into the void.

I was hoping to just delete the icon on the left side of the screen but keep the app accessible from the app screen.

Thanks for the help
