I can't get the software to install on my Defender. I have done everything from nstalling now to setting up a scheduled install overnight. I have made over dozen attempts but keeps giving error that software did not install. The vehicle Windows are all closed and alarmed during the process.
Also the vehicle threw a code Gearbox faut detected which consisted of very loud gear changing noise during my child's morning dropoff . Any help would be appreciated.
Vehicle is 3 weeks old and under 1,000 miles

Same on OTA software. Mine is heading to dealership next. Tired of pressing update now.

 

Lots of this on the FB groups. I’ve tried everything. Followed suggestions from YouTube videos from powerfuluk, and others, hard reset, charge, etc. nothing has worked. Taking it to dealer next.

 

You can also try turning off WiFi, I heard that is allowing some Defenders to install the update. Did not work for me and dealer told me it needs to be hooked up at dealer to install.

 

They really should have an update to fix the update.

I would think they have this figured out by now.
Bring it to the dealer and let them have a headache over it. Maybe only then will the mothership realize the problem.

 

Tried several times to update. Failed. Send car to dealer and they have tried 3 days with land rover UK support. No success. I have collected car back from dealer. They promised to call me once they get proper solution from the company.

 

My dealer said they would need the car for a while because no one has left a car with them long enough for them to figure out.....
