I’m “attempting “ to retrofit the motorized steering column...wish me luck!
Motorized steering column? What is that? What does it do? Meaning that it is a "manual" version and you want it auto? Sorry, I'm a prisoner of my experiences so only have 1 personal view of the L663: mine! They come both ways?
I have the manual steering column. There is a lever you lift and the steering wheel goes forward and backwards and up and down. This motorized (telescoping) one does all for that for you with the little switch.
Lol. No interest. Looks like a pain in the ****!

Wish you'd spend your time researching the retrofit of soft close doors![/QUOTE]

I always joke that a computer engineer will spend hours programming something to save himself keystrokes. Craftsmen always do that. You should see the "aids" I have in my workshop to make things easier. I will NEVER get my time out of them.
