Default Iight pods pricing

Hi, I was wondering if I look at the light pods, I see urban asking €2800,- and on AliExpress the same? For €2000,- less? I understand margin. But this is steep.

anybody bought them on AliExpress?

its worth the gamble…

Urban created them and everyone on Ali copied them.

One thing going for urban is that they use Lazer Led lights. the lights alone are over 1000

Have you ever driven in a snow storm with bright white lights mounted high on your roof lighting up the snow on the windshield and hood. ?

No rally car driver would ever mount their driving lights behind the bumper for a reason... But if looks are your thing please enjoy the bling..

I live in California a large state in America and I drive canyon roads in the mountains where we get "snow and fog" often. Driving with white lights mounted behind the windshield up high is the very last thing you want to do if you want to see where you are going without thinking you are on hyperdrive. But you sound as if you know it all..

entertaining to witness the childish behavior.

the topic was why there was a difference in price between urban and other copy cats. Nobody ask for opinions and their preferences

Urban obviously has their plastic pod made in Asia and it has been copied by everyone at this point. it’s the led lights that is the real difference.

if you are truly using it for utility i would look into Lazer lamps technology. they have several integration kits for the Defender. If you don’t care for the looks there are better options that will cause less wind noise. That is the biggest compliant of any roof light pod.

Thanks for this reaction. Helps a lot. And yes i lurded in a childish reaction.

lazer looks fantastic.
lazer linear 18 elite with pods, or grill. But I really don’t like the look on the grill dispute the advantages. And yes I’m unloved with the looks of my in alril
upvomkng car. I do care about that. But those
lazerlights really do stand out!

cheers!
