Default Indicators / turning signals temporarily silent

Hi. While driving the other day, the audible clicking sound of the indicators (turning signals) went away. For about 15 minutes any turning was silent, but the lights continued to flash. Then it came back and I've got the familiar clicking in time with the light blinking again. What controls the audible sounds from indicators / turning signals and why would it have gone away?

I've notice mine mute when I'm using Google Voice to dictate a message, and I think it also mutes when on a phone call.

That's interesting I had indeed used Siri previously to make a quick phone call and I wonder if maybe it doesn't come back out of silent mode. I'll do some more testing with Carplay.

Noticed the same thing on my 2021 P300. After a phone call the left turn signal was silent, but the right made the click-click noise. When I came out of the store and re-started, both were clicking again. Dunno?

Yep, I've had this happen as well. Had to look twice as I was pretty sure I activated the turn signal lever. Like many LR issues, it was cured by a simple restart.

I know for many here, their Defender is their first JLR purchase. It will be interesting to see how many embrace the quirks and "British Personality" long-term and how many trade in their Defender for another Lexus that never has any issues.

I've noticed this once or twice after using Siri. In fact, every car I've owned with a digital driver display has had this happen occasionally across multiple brands.
