I think this has been discussed ad nauseam since the chip shortage BS began, but I can't find a concrete answer lately confirming.

I'm trying to decide upon a Yulong white 2023 X-Dynamic SE P400 arriving to my dealer in a month that states on the build sheet that it will have the drivers interactive display.

I'm also possibly going to order a new build to get exactly what I want.

My question is...are they indeed arriving with the stated equipment on the build sheet or is everyone getting sadly let down when the vehicles actually arrive and they're missing options? I ask because I haven't seen an interactive display on a 2023 yet.

i don't think any 2023.5 models have been delivered to confirm, can only say on my SE order it is stated on the order sheet as having the interactive display.

 

Thanks Trekkie, mine too on the incoming one the dealer has arriving. If it indeed does not have the interactive display its a hard and tough pass for me, as this incoming one already is missing some crucial options I want.

 

I ordered mine today. What they did was download my 'configuration' and it then tells them (allegedly) what I can and cannot get.

I was able to configure Interactive Driver Display, 11.4" screen, but not ClearView.

After they downloaded, it confirmed Interactive Driver Display but not 11.4" screen.

This is on a P300 90---so I was not expecting to be able to get the ClearView.

I am happy that I can get Interactive Driver Display and Active Cruise Control....and I can live with the 10" screen by telling myself it looks better in the dash.

When you say active cockpit, do you mean the full digital display behind the steering wheel referred to as "Interactive Display" by JLR?

Regarding the Clear View mirror, I had that on my 2022 and never once used it, thats a GMC gimmic thats utterly useless. You wont miss it.

Thanks so much for clarification. No worries whatsoever, the terminology definitely is confusing.

 

The interactive display are selling used on eBay for 400-800 bucks and can be activated with the DOiP dealership tool. It has the same part as with the discoveries and sports and fullsize up to 2022.

 

Vulkan automotive in the UK has market cornered on the 11.4 upgrade screens for 2500 pounds including activation if you live in the UK. You could try to contact them about just buying the parts and shipping them here. I haven’t seen the 11.4 screens on eBay yet.

 

If anyone can source an 11.4 screen it could be Robin of Duckworth parts in the UK. He can make things happen that most dealerships can’t.
