Does anyone know if the interior accent lighting can be added on if it was not included in the original build? 2020 defender 110 for reference. Thanks! Trying to find something that doesn’t look tacky if I can’t.

 

PowerfulUk has some things that may be the way to go. Not sure exactly what the accent lighting provides, but if it is different colored footwell lights then here you go - Link.

 

That sounds complicated if it can be done. The color change lights are all over. Doors, storage areas, dash, etc. It would also have to be turned on in Pivi (Mark in California?)

One part that doesn't color change is the foot wells. That is what powerful UK is offering. It doesn't let you pick the color in Pivi if you buy their accessories. You just pick the color(s) when you buy it and swap the bulb out.

 

 

Yeah, I have seen the Powerful UK light change kits, which are nice, but yes I am trying to figure out if adding the factory lights is possible. I have done a little research, and the channels where the lights go are already cut in. The software might be one of the biggest obstacles.

 

Vulkan Automotive out of the UK has an OEM retrofit.

 

Vulkan in the UK can do the ambient light upgrade now and includes the footwell too.
