Default Defender X Dynamic - Robustec Interior

Hi all,

I have an order for 2022 P400 100 SE in the pipeline. I was thinking about switching to the X Dynamic because I kinda like the darker satin front and rear bumper.

But before I did that, wanted to get some thoughts on the Robustec fabric material. I’ve read in a post that it stains very easily. It will be a family car with couple of toddlers and I’m concerned about it staining. Does anyone has some real life experience with it?

BTW, the 2022 SE comes with all leather seats.

I have a X-Dynamic with the Charcoal Robustec and tan leather. I love the interior and wouldn’t change a thing, the Robustec only on the normal wear points really makes sense. With it being darker I don’t think it will stain. I didn’t like the looks of the lighter colored Robustec but the darker looks nice.

With MY22, don't the standard & x-dynamic trims below HSE come with grained leather? I have a x-dynamic hse & it has the robustec interior, I actually like how they have robustec like fabric on the center console arms too.

No, not in the USA, at least. As I stated right above, my 22 P400 X-Dynamic SE has Khaki/Ebony Robustec interior.

My 22 110 SE came with full Acorn grained leather. Robustec is only offered on the X-Dynamic trims.

Thanks. Is it leather on the armrests and on the two beams running across the dash? Or is it that foamy material?

Robustec seems to hold up fine with kids and dog. With toddlers, get those padded mats that go under their car seats.

In my Acorn Lunar the center console I think is actually Robustec but it feels more like suede leather. I spilled a little bit of coke on it and it wiped right up without staining. I know the charcoal colored ribbon around the seats which is Robustec feels more cloth like then the center console. It really looks good in my opinion and am happy I got it. It's just hard to describe it until you actually sit in one. It does seem very durable - I just though the darker color made the cabin too dark. It's obviously a personal opinion but I also lived in the south and didn't want a darker interior.
