Just saying hi!
Been looking at a Bronco for about a year and gave up after finding out that another 18 months would be realistic. I’m a car person and not blessed with patience. I hadn’t even considered the Defender until I got a call about a 2023 order that backed out (110 XDynamic, blacked out, offroad). It was my exact build, with a few small extras. Dealership offered MSRP and what I wanted for my trade (thank you, Autobahn!).
In any case, glad to see there is a forum for these, as I’m still hard core learning. As the name implies, my last 4 have been wranglers. After a week of ownership- not sure how it took me so long to make the move!

The arch flares were a big thing for me, as I just felt it made it more rugged. About the only thing I didn’t want was the ionic air purifier. Guess the guy who ordered it was an off-roading germaphobe. But it isn’t a bad thing to have.
That noted, I love the interior on these. Jeep does a good job, especially on the JLs, but clearly this is a step above. I wanted something that I could appreciate onroad too, and this fits the bill.

Any suggestions?

I’m very sure I’ll have a few. The most obvious I have is the “go to” for upgrades/accessories. For Jeeps, there are a thousand sites, but people usually have 2-3 (quadratec being one) that they use instead of hunting the internet for 1 unknown thing.
Any suggestions?
Any suggestions?
But I love talking about this stuff so ill keep going.
I would get familiar with these sites -
PowerfulUK- https://www.powerfuluk.com/vehicles/...-defender.html - They have a bunch of mods that are mainly aesthetic
Lucky8 - https://lucky8llc.com/collections/de...ssories?page=1 - Probably the best place for functional mods at the moment. Winches, sliders, ladder, etc. (Front bumper coming soon).
Vulkan- https://vulkanautomotive.com/collections/110 - Mainly aesthetic
Voyager - https://voyagerracks.com/new-defender-voyager-roof-rack - They make sliders, and a tube rack
Front Runner - https://www.frontrunneroutfitters.com/en/us/ - I am sure you're familiar with them already but I have their rack and love it, as well as the table for the rear door.
New Defender Mods - https://newdefendermods.com/ - So much stuff both aesthetic and functional
Sarek - https://www.sarekautowerke.com/newde...stomoutfitting - Probably the most offroad oriented mods
The Mods I have done that were critical-
- Rear trunk cover - https://www.powerfuluk.com/vehicles/...nder-l663.html
- Lucky8 Sliders - https://lucky8llc.com/collections/de...rock-sliders-1
- Front Runner rack - https://www.frontrunneroutfitters.co...roof-rack.html
