Apparently its a second receiver on the left side of the car.

Will be nice to have the reliability we have all come to expect when unlocking a car with arms full of groceries.
Anyone know if this adds a second receiver, or replaces the existing? Going round in circles with mine on this -- often won't unlock car when I press drivers door handle. Dealer replaced battery in the key, same behavior now tho.

Does anyone know if, when you have this problem of doors not unlocking, it applies to all your key fobs? I have one key fob that works flawlessly and one key fob that mostly never works except by pressing the button on it to unlock. Locking is never a problem.
Do I have this issue, or just a bad key fob? Vehicle booked in to get this fixed in December (first available appointment) but knowledge is always useful.

where are you located? the lynnwood location did my tech bulletin. i too am not 100% certain if it's just moving the receiver or adding one. but whatever they did it completely resolved my problem. fob/door button works 100% of the time now. before the work it maybe worked 50% of time or required me to hold the fob to the door or up in the air.

if only one of your fobs gives you problems it sounds like a battery issue or bad fob. the core issue in this thread is different in that it's due to the default placement of the receiver module in the vehicle. for left hand driver vehicles you and your fob are on the opposite side from where the receiver is. so the signal is trying to get through glass, metal, etc (your body if fob is in left pocket). once they do the tech bulletin and move the module it's much closer to the left side of the vehicle which includes you and your fob and fixes the signal issue.

Anyone ever figure out if all they're doing is moving the reciever to the front? OR is it adding/replacing it?

Experincing this issue with my 2023.5 130, TSB doesn't specifically discuss the 130... so I'm just waiting for the dealer to tell me it doesn't apply. But fingers crossed while its there at the moment for coolant leak.

They move it from above the cargo area to above the driver's seat and install a new wiring harness overlay to help boost the signal. They don't add another RF receiver or replace it.

Unfortunately as expected still getting the run around from the dealer on this. They insist the 110 wiring is different form the 130, and so this bulletin (though provided to them) - apparently -they say- doesn't apply to the 130.... so they wont attempt it.

I said, well I don't believe that is true, but even if it is, I still have the problem... so what are you going to do to fix it? No response on that just yet.

While the RF receiver is in the same place in the 130 as it is in the 110, it would make sense that the 130 would probably have more/longer wiring harness than the 110. Regardless, your dealer should find a fix. Maybe there is a separate TSB for the 130. It obviously affects all Defenders - not just an issue with the 110. Keep pushing them to remedy the problem.

Does this apply to MY25 110? I got mine a couple of weeks ago and I've been noticing that a lot of times it will not let me unlock with the handle button from the drivers side and I have to go fumble around for the remote. I'll contact the dealer if this TSB does apply to MY25.

It should apply, even though this TSB dates back to 2021. As far as I'm aware, the RF receiver is still located above the cargo area in all model years unless this TSB was performed.
