Keyless Entry/Start Not Reliable

Even though a fix would be as simple as any I can think of, I doubt LR will take the initiative. Is this a problem through all production years? It would drive me nuts, as my LR4 also works perfectly.

After a few trips to the dealer and showing the service advisor, they raised the issue to Land Rover. The dealership was instructed to relocate the receiver for the key to the driver side above the B pillar. It fixed my problem I can reliably open the driver door with the key in my pocket. I hope this helps. Joe

where is the receiver by default/prior to relocation?

It was on the right side of the Defender. I’ll try to post a picture of the service write up tomorrow just confirm my recollection. Now on the left side according to the write up.
