Land Rover Bullbar
I had trouble putting on some accessories so decided to see what Land Rover had to say. While I was surfing around their Accessories Instructions page (LAND ROVER ACCESSORY FITTING INSTRUCTIONS), I noticed that they had "Fitment instructions" for a Bull bar (see pic below).
The link to the instructions is (LAND ROVER ACCESSORY FITTING INSTRUCTIONS).
So if this is part # VPLEP0448, anyone have any experience getting one? I'm thinking of calling up the local JLR and asking to place the order.

Incredible AU spec LR bullbar
Had mine shipped from Australia. Extremely pricey and took dealer days to install, BUT it was well worth. It is incredibly robust, perfectly finished, and looks amazing. Didn’t install winch this time, but all of the mounting hardware is pre-prepped and ready to go. Bolt in winch, attach wiring and done. Dealer made a custom mounting plate for the US license plate.
I recommend this bullbar to anyone and everyone with a new Defender.

Love your bull bar and want one.
Would you mind telling me where you purchased it in Australia and cost?

They will confirm shipping costs, but I think it's like $1,800 USD on top of the bar costs. Here's the link: https://newdefendermods.com/collecti...winch-brushbar
For a long time, they didn't have stock. Now back in stock, I believe.

Yes, $1800 to Los Angeles is about right. Plus a solid three days of install, IF the shop knows what their doing. The frame does need some modification. I waited another month to do the winch, but strongly suggest you do them both at the same time. Saves quite a bit of labor. Once installed this bb is an absolute beast. Besides looking great, I’m quite confident it will be the victor in any unfortunate collision.

Do you think the headlight guards would stand up to hitting a deer at highway speeds? We have a crazy number of deer, elk and bighorn sheep in the mountains.
The price of the LR brush guard is pretty hard to swallow, but after hitting a deer at night several years ago I think the value is there if it's strong enough.
