What does this / if anything - have to do with L663? "Deep Clean with AQI".

 

Doesn't AQI stand for Air Quality Index? It might be tied to those of us who have the Cabin Air Inozier. Maybe upon startup the ionizer kicks in and cleans out the allergens/pollen.

 

How do you update this app? My version is 1.81 - unable to update via the Apple app store - uninstall & reinstall? Thanks for any help!

The latest version is 2.9.1. I use the Remote app several times a week. Works fine for me, gets the Defender cool before I get in. Love it.

 

make sure to log out and log back in once the app is updated. sometimes that throws things off.

 

Yeah, I have the De Ionizer or 2.9ppm filtration or whatever it's called option. Both of them actually. But I haven't noticed anything happening differently.

Then again, I can barely get the fan to turn on for my vents without doing it manually via the fan speed button, so ... who knows my climate system may be wonky. (anyone else remember the first 2005 LR3's with the fan speed problem from the factory... quite hilarious on a hot day listening to the fan cycle up and down endlessly and the dealer for a year said it was normal until a TSB came out)
