First of all, if you do have the front camera I recommend installing the triple r's as the liner 18s will obstruct your front camera view, and the reason why I optioned for having a switch is I just didnt wanna tinker with electricity (for now) as it will void the warranty on defender.

I mainly use them for driving onroad and offroad, they are extremely bright, the elite version has spot and spread kind of pattern and also they can be pivoted in whatever direction you want them.

i saw some pictures on Instagram of a defender that had mounted an additional small fog light right next to the oem fog light. looks like a baja design S1pro. if i needed any more light a pair of bright yellow fogs would be more useful for me

considering doing that and might add the lazer also. all my buddies got a bunch of AUX lights in their cars. felling left behind

 

Wish they were legal for on-road use in the US, but they aren't. I could see why you'd want them for use in Kuwait with those long dark desert roads.

 

They lights you were looking at are back in stock Tartan, did you buy or are you still looking?

 

I bought the Dynamic diode lights in the SAE/dot approved driving light format.

 

Did you hook up the amber or white positioning lights?

The switch looks good but that is also where my brake controller **** will have to go...

Drat. The longer single unit blocking the front camera is a bit of a deal killer for me. Thank you for throwing that out there, and now I know why most folks go with the 2 units. Going to talk to the manufacturer to see if any options / what they say. Will report back. Maybe they have a solution for mounting a bit differently.

My guess on where the liner 18 will be with the front camera, it won’t be usable anymore

 

So than there is only the solution of recessed Lazer bar in the grille.
More work, more time consuming.
Hereby my solution, no problems of interference with the front camera.

 

Those 2 round lamps are nice. I like it. What's the brand/make/model of the lamps ?
