Hi all,
Having hard time to overcome this only in market policy to sell you a Defender. WTH!
If anyone had good experience in hunting down a Defender out of your local zone please let me know either here or private message.
I am taking a chance on somthing off the lot rather then order. thanks guys

Did you try the Land Rover dealership new or used look up tool. Link below. I see plenty for sale. Hard to believe some one would not sell you one if it is in inventory and on the lot. As I understood the region thing it was only for new builds to your spec and not in inventory and not ready to sell. I could be wrong. My Boise Idaho dealership has 3 CPO used ones. Ask for Ted. To build your own It is still 2500 deposit. Wait on the list for @ 6 months. Build then Order and wait another 4-5 months for build and delivery. Good luck!

Pretty much anything on the ground is going to be packed up or an ADM applied. This is not exclusive to Land Rover. Just about anything that has heavy demand is under the same constraints. If you are looking for a reasonable number, order a unit and wait it out.

My experience was that by mid-December some dealers gave up the pretense of added markups, others didn't and are having inventory pile up on their lots. Some dealers are holding to MSRP, and seem to moving enough of the few cars available - right now. But cancellations are up and discounts are starting to become available if you're willing to shop around. I was in touch with a dozen-odd dealers. YMMV but with interest rates up and the economy slowing noticeably prices are indeed softening across the entire spectrum.
