Anyone have luck with a specific LA area dealer for getting a loaner for your Defender? Pasadena is my local dealer (also where I purchased), but they have acted like I come from Mars when I’ve inquired about a loaner.

 

Is Carlsbad too far south for you? They have provided both us and a friend with a RR Sport with a loaner.

Edit: We both bought ours there.

 

Im in OC and purchased CPO Defender from Land Rover Ventura. Whenever I need a service, they bring me a matching Defender 90 loaner and pick up mine with their tow truck for service. Then bring my car back and pick up a loaner from my driveway. Quite convenient service. As Ventura is small market, they want more business from LA/OC so it's their general service so you're not asking them any favor.

I bought my 110 from Land Rover Van Nuys and they have given me a loaner the 2 times its been in.

 

Bought my 90 up in Sacramento but get it serviced at Land Rover Los Angeles. Have usually gotten a loaner whenever I schedule for one.

 

Obviously loaners are limited - speak with your service advisor and find out when one would be available and coordinate your service then (if you can)

Since Group 1 bought the Land Rover dealer near me, they only give loaners to people that bought their Land Rover there. And now the loaner is either a used vehicle or a Discovery Sport.

That's what happens when the dealership is in Boston and the owner is a conglomerate in Texas.

 

Picked up a Discovery loaner at Land Rover Los Angeles today. They were very efficient, huge operation they are running there. Disco is comfortable and has a bigger screen (the MY24 Defender screen is ridiculously small), and it has approach lock/unlock which is a nice feature. There was an Edition One Octa in the bay awaiting delivery. Stunning vehicle in person.
