Long range fuel tank?

@Mark1107 thanks for chiming in. As @Tartan also pointed out, most trails are not that long, and can often be run at least partially in hi-range. Rotopax are a great solution as an emergency backup to just get you back to a road. I can't carry 5-8 as you suggest (no room on the roof due to a rooftop tent, and don't want them inside the vehicle), but plan to attach one 3 gallon can on the side opposite the JLR gear carrier (lunchbox).
I'm just looking for a little more range and peace of mind now that I've added quite a bit of gear to my Defender and am not getting the kind of range I was used to getting in a compact car. Still interested in a long-range fuel tank, and hoping that JLR or someone else decides to make one for the Defender.

I would totally buy a longer range tank if someone came up with one!!! Keep me posted!
