Don't do it. That looks a sweet Defender just the way it is.

Why didn’t you buy a Range Rover Evoque convertible instead.

Not so speak for the guy, but this looks way cooler than an Evoque.

I am intrigued to know why you would actually want to lower this car? Do you think it will look cooler? Do you not care about ride quality afterwards? Is your garage door too low?

Well, i have many off road cars, i loved the look of the defender, since its a coupe i want to do something different. After making it look more sportier will upgrade the engine, turbos, brakes and all other performance parts. Since am new to land rover i have asked you guys if there is a way to lower it and will it hurt the suspension or not. Thanks again.

Won’t it lower enough for you in the settings?

it doesn’t have since it has coil overs not air suspension

Look it's your truck so do as you will, but the answer to the last question has nothing to do with LR. You don't ever improve ride quality by taking 1.5-2" out of the suspension travel. You might (MIGHT) improve handling slightly by lowering center of gravity, but you will most certainly "hurt" suspension function.

Sorry I have no specifics on how as I don't generally modify vehicles that direction. I'm sure there are those with low riders who already have all the tricks. If shorter springs aren't available in a decent spring rate it wouldn't surprise me if they don't cut em to shorten em. Not sure what other considerations must be taken on this chassis as I've not even crawled under ours yet.

But like I said, it's your ride, so have fun.
