So do you think guys there is smaller springs for it or there is a spring that can be shared with the defender for example different type of LR after market springs that will fit

Great car ! Unfortunately missing the most important option : Air suspension pack , it's only $ 1600 in the US , very cheap compared to Europe & Australia .

retrofitting the air system might be possible and is probably the best solution to be honest. It will cost waay more than the option would have. Its probably worth looking into as it won't ruin the ride quality, I imagine lowering it with coils would destroy your resale value too. On a side note, I agree with everyone else, I think it'll look worse lowered, but you are free to prove us wrong! It'll still look pretty awesome no-matter what you do, including doing nothing :P

Not a mechanical expert, but actually for what you want not sure air suspension would have helped as there you are probably even more limited in terms of options. Maybe you could have gotten someone to code it so you can keep it in access mode permanently, but beyond that if what you want is to lower it then the coil suspension is probably better suited to be modified. As @Kev M mentioned if the intent is improving ride comfort, shorter seems counterproductive though.

Good luck with your mods!

Here you go. I lowered 2 inches. You may find the ride a bit bumpy:

Unless you're going to slam this thing to the ground and get serious about "dropping" it, I dont see the point, as evidenced in the above photo. Modify the flares and really drop it, then maybe you've got something interesting. Not for me, but why half *** it?!

I really don’t understand the point of buying a vehicle with a suspension and drivetrain designed for articulation and then lowering it, this seems as misguided as lifting a Ferrari.

In the old days, guys used to take a torch to the coils of the spring and heat them until they collapsed, you could control the amount you lowered it really easy and it didn't affect the ride quality much. I've never done it that way.
