Default Lucky8's 2021 Trek Defender Walk-Around

The Crown Prince of the Off-Road Houligans presents an awesome Defender build for the Defender Trek Competition. I really want to get my hands on one of the head light guards when they are GA. Well done to the Lucky8 team and for LRNA for putting this together.

Well done, love the details (surprised to not see their rock sliders).

Count me in for the headlight covers as well.

Having a Rotopax and a storage bin on the sides of these trucks is just plain absurd. Any tree branch on a trail would rip them off or damage them and the side of the truck. I guess when off-roading at the pristine groomed trails of the Biltmore, there will be no tree branches. Why can't LR take these trucks out to Moab or Colorado and drive for a week on the BLM roads in the back country? Why not take them on a US Tour so everyone can get a chance to see them? LR really just doesn't care anymore. I think the color scheme looks great and I like what L8 has done. But man, it's all about the show now. No real competition and no real enthusiasm anymore. With 70 inch tv's who needs to be anywhere right?

I found the most awesome sales lady at a LR dealership in Tampa. She had just gotten back from abusing the sh*t out of a new Defender in Moab with some of her co-workers when I talked to her and she knew every little detail of the truck. LR corporate is turning into a marketing machine but there is still some enthusiasm left scattered about. It's disappointing that it's that rare though.
