I’m going to look at a new 110 xdynamic tomorrow and I’m wondering if there’s anything specific you all would recommend I look for that might need dealer attention. Also, I’m wondering what you might recommend I have turned on or disabled by the dealers software tools before I drive off.

I would appreciate any advice.

I see you're back in! When I picked mine up, they had a "tech guy" sit with me and go over things. You can decide what you want turned on/off. Nothing really stands out to me as something to note, but he did recommend I keep wifi turned off, as to not mess with updates(cellular is fine). Hope it goes well, and enjoy your decision either way.

 

Just buy a GAP tool and turn everything on yourself for one low price. Save yourself a ton of $$$.

Buy the hardware you want.
eg for me: Must have rear tow hitch receiver, rear recovery loops, IDD. Must not have 19" or 22" rims.

Sotware stuff like in car WiFi, TR2, tow pack, dynamic mode (normally only on V8), are just some of the features you can enable with GAP. ACC can be added later too via the new Gen 4 GAP or the JetPro software.

 

Thanks, I got 8/10 of the things I wanted on this build including recovery points and hitch. I walked away from a 4k more discounted unit because it had 22’s. Potholes just waiting for em…

 

I have never seen a dealer activate/deactivate anything like ACC, Dynamic mode, TR2 etc. My dealer claims they don't have the tools to do it. Like stated above, you're better off getting a GAP tool and doing it yourself. Good luck with the purchase, you'll love it!
