My loaded D90X with a last change date of 1/26, committed to build 2/3, and is built already... Feels like luck of the draw...

New to the Defender here but is there no longer V6 engines for the Defender for 2023? What about the V8?

i think what you are reading is a lot of speculation on what is or isnt available.. the only advice i would give is if you are serious about getting one, find a high volume dealer near you and put the order in. you could chase inventory but then you are in a world of mark ups and poaching. you can get lucky on orders than come in but arent taken- but what i have seen is a bidding war. A CE D90 near me had a customer fall through, it hit the lot, was bought by someone out of state 36 hours later for 14k over MSRP...

The build date for my 90S was this past Friday (2/25) so I sent an email to my dealer this morning requesting an update and this is what I received below. It appears it actually was built a few days early since it has already made it to the distribution center. I think his "6-7 weeks" may be a little ambitious since that would be 3 weeks before my intended Delivery date of 5/6 but things appear to be progressing on time.....fingers crossed!

"Your Defender just arrived at the distribution center over the weekend. From here it will leave Slovakia and head to the UK port by train, this takes about three weeks. Then it will wait at the UK port to get loaded on a ship. Once that happens, we will be able to better track the progress. It is on the ship for 3 weeks as well. Hopefully if things go well, we will see it here in the States in about 6 to 7 weeks."

what dealership will it ultimately go to? mine was built in the same (ish) batch and they could be heading in the same direction.. The port for mine is Baltimore..

It will ultimately end up in Salt Lake City. I'm guessing another week to be tacked on just getting it inland from a port.

Default Slovenia

Got this today:

Your Defender is still in Europe awaiting a transport ship to come and collect it. Once I get the vessel name, I'll send you the details.

It is at the Port of Koper in Slovenia on the Adriatic Sea near Venice, Italy.

d90s ordered in July. Build date 2/18
