Not a fan of having the crossbars flush with or below the sharkfin like that. Knowing how clumsy I can be, I'd likely bork it up somehow when loading stuff up there.

I know for many, the flush rack is absolutely desirable. It looks very sleek but a bit more form than function for me. I like the ladder very much but too $picy a meatball for me.

Also OP - good call on ditching the green wheels for the black ones.

I wonder why they did the "jog right" at the top of the ladder.

So I guess if you want to use the rack you have to slide the bars forward and then you can't use the fabric roof because it looks like it would hit?

How is the wind noise? I have the same 110 and have not done a roof rack yet. Planning on it but the only concern I have is increased can noise as the fabric does not insulate out the noise like glass or a solid roof. Looks very nice by the way. I have the black wheels as well and have made a few other adjustments.

I am seriously considering building my own. I have the tools and ability to do it just the time is needed. 😄

Default PLUMB roof rack

No noise at all. I drove today with open roof and haven’t noticed anything unusual. Although I haven’t attached anything on the rack yet. The bare rack itself doesn’t generate any wind noise or any noise at all.
